Start With Ali is operated by Ali Villani. This policy explains, in plain language, what information this website may collect, how it is used and how you can get in touch about it.
I only ask for what is genuinely needed. This website does not ask for your weight, height, date of birth, medical conditions, medications, menopause status, diagnoses or detailed medical history.
The quiz uses your answers to suggest one of five Starting Points: More Energy, More Protein, Better Gut Health, Weight & Nutrition or Healthier Habits.
This is a general wellbeing education experience. It is not a medical assessment, a health or nutritional diagnosis, a clinical assessment, medical advice or personalised medical treatment.
This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors move through the site, for example how many people start the quiz or reach a Starting Point. Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC act as the analytics provider and process this information on my behalf.
Only general behaviour is measured. Your name, email address, Talk to Ali message content, individual quiz answer text and any health information are never sent to Google Analytics.
Where a campaign link is used, the standard campaign parameters in the web address (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content and utm_term) may be recorded with your quiz or enquiry so I can see which campaigns are helpful.
If you are visiting from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, analytics cookies are only set after you accept them. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer, and declining is as easy as accepting.
Receiving your Starting Point and agreeing to marketing are two separate things. The marketing checkbox is optional and is never ticked for you. The current wording is:
“Yes, I would also like to receive simple wellbeing tips and occasional emails from Start With Ali. I can unsubscribe at any time.”
Where you do opt in, the consent status, the date and time, and the wording you agreed to are recorded.
Completing the quiz, requesting your Starting Point, sending a Talk to Ali enquiry, visiting a product page or clicking an Arbonne link are never treated as marketing consent. If you unsubscribe, you will not be added back simply because you retake the quiz or get in touch.
The Starting Point email you asked for may be sent as part of providing the quiz experience. Any additional or ongoing emails are only sent where you have given marketing consent.
Marketing emails identify the sender, include contact information and include a way to unsubscribe. Unsubscribing stops future marketing emails.
Trusted technology and service providers may be used to operate the website, store information, deliver emails and support website functionality. These currently may include Lovable, Supabase and Brevo.
Some providers may store or process information outside Australia. The exact locations have not been confirmed for this policy yet.

You can ask to access or correct the personal information held about you, subject to any applicable requirements. Please get in touch through the Talk to Ali page.

Personal information is not intentionally kept for longer than reasonably required for the purposes described above, subject to legal, operational and record-keeping requirements.
This policy may be updated if information handling practices or the services used change. The last updated date at the top of this page will change when it does.
